I had a very small but clean room with paper thin walls. It sounded like someone was taking a shower in my bathroom and I could hear the couple next-door talking late into the night, smoking cigarettes in the morning despite being prohibited. The hallways in the lift were so small. I could barely get my luggage on board. It’s OK for one night I guess. Not cosy or friendly.

This is a no frills hotel that provides a clean basic room for a one night stay. It is conveniently located 5 minutes from the train station. I normally arrive late and leave early so it is excellent for my purposes. 24 hour reception with multi lingual staff. No food apart from a vending machine but plenty of options nearby. Mini market 50 metres away.

The hotel is aptly named because it's not the kind of place you'd want to hang around in too long. In fact, it's designed in a way to encourage you to stay out all day and only return there to sleep. On the plus side, Hotel Transit is close to the Sants railway station - about 5 mins walk - making it convenient for trips out of the city and for the airport. (This is why we chose it) The room was also clean and tidy, and tidied every day by friendly staff. On the down side, the room was tiny for two adults (approx 3m x 5m), so movement was very limited while in the room. There was only space for one person to store their bags and clothes, so I had to put my clothes on the floor when undressing. The safe in the room was broken, and when I complained to the receptionist, he muttered something about COVID, which didn't make sense to me. In the small bathroom the shower head was a big square plate (20cm X 20cm), which was far too big for the tiny cubicle, so water splashed all over the floor. The water temperature was also very difficult to regulate. The soap and shower gels were cheap, odourless and didn't lather. There were no coffee or tea facilities in the room. The hotel generally is drab and poky, lacking charm and space. All this for €150 a night

It was a nice stay, no problems at all, good complementary toiletries and a clean and beautiful environment, with a good price and location, ai can recommend for anyone that wants a good stay with a fair price

I booked this hotel as I didn't want to be amongst the tourists in the centre of Barcelona, and this was a great location. A couple of minutes walk to Barcelona-Sants train station where you can catch a train to just about anywhere, but the restaurants and stores were not too busy even though it was a weekend. I stayed in a single bed room which was just the right size, clean bathroom (maybe a little tight if you are a bigger person) and was quiet. Though I did have people in the room across that around midnight to 1am kept going in and out of their room and slamming the door hard. Was annoying when you have to get up at 4am to leave. But not the hotels fault. If I'm travelling alone again would stay here, not sure what the bigger rooms would be like, but assume as good.
